
José R. Cot
Mr. Cot has over 30 years of experience litigating cases in state and federal courts in Louisiana, Texas and throughout the United States. His experience includes representing domestic and international insureds and insurers in first- and third-party claims and coverage disputes, including maritime personal injury and property claims, allisions and collisions, platform liability, LHWCA, indemnity and contractual disputes, subrogation and recovery actions, construction defects, expropriation and inverse condemnation proceedings, premises liability, products liability and toxic torts, including asbestos, silica and property environmental claims.
Mr. Cot is originally from San Juan, Puerto Rico and fluent in Spanish. He is also a trained mediator.
